A Brief View of Kalmaker pg3

There are too many maps to show in this brief session,
Other features of Kalmaker are the View Screens. There are 4 of these and all can be data logged. These are powerful tools. If anything wrong, you can track it frame by frame, and this will reveal what is happening. This screen is Engine All

Below is the Diagnostic screen.
This shows what codes are set, and voltages of sensors.

Finally, when you are finished the calibration, or just finished for the day, you can simply unplug the laptop, and the ECM will continue to function normally with your modified calibration indefinitely.
Disconnecting the ECM will not affect the calibration, but will clear any self learning and any trouble codes as per normal.
You can plug laptop back in anytime and make more changes.
An option, if you wish, is to save your calibration and burn it onto an eprom, and then install in memcal. To do this you also will need a Kalmaker PAL in order for the Kalmaker calibration to function.
This allows
many cars to be tuned with one Real Time ECM, and then use the saved calibrations (with PAL) in standard ecm's.
You can also install other Real Time ecm's in other cars.
It may cost more, but you don't have to bother with burning chips.

To save on memcal,
(
optional), the cal gets burnt on eprom (left). Then eprom is inserted into Memcal Replacement below and then installed into ECM
