My 32 Roadster

Well it took approx 20 months to get it on the road, with this photo taken in March 2006.
It turned out even better than I expected.
It's a delight to drive, and handles very well

I had her on the dyno before it was registered and was pleased to pull 330hp at the treads, which is about what I was hoping for.
The air cleaner I used is a K&N item which was supposed to come with 4 inch filter, but arrived with 2 Inch element. I thought this may hurt power and I was right. I could only pull approx 275hp with it on, so I removed it and went straight to 300hp. A 4 inch filter cured problem. I then uncorked the Lakes Pipes and went straight to 320hp, but look how lean it went. I ended up at 330hp with AFR at 13 to 1.
This tune shown here is what I run on the street with pipes corked, and the richer one for the drags.

The car weighs 1000kg and so at the Nostalgic Drags I was able to pull low 12's easy, but because I wasn't running a roll cage I wasn't allowed to run faster than 12.99, so I was only playing around. With a bit of practice I reckon I could pull an 11 and that's with these tyres.

ABOVE: Heading off to Big Al's Poker run. This was our first outing and most enjoyable

Our next run was to the "Big River Nationals" in South Australia, approx 3000kms away, at Barmera. Shown here on the Ferry crossing the Murray River.

Below I'm parked at the Great Australian Bight checking out the cliffs, and then the Nullarbor straight on the way home…..

I was getting 28 miles per gallon, and even did one tank of gas at "The Ton" and got 25 mpg

And this is what 10 km's of road work does…….
You should have seen it before the rain washed most of it off……
Thank god I made some side windows before I left…….

We specialize in EFI harnesses here, so a complete EFI harness was custom made to suit.
The Relays and Fuses, along with Computer and Ignition Module are all located up under the dash.
It's pretty busy up under there with all the rest of the car's wiring as well

I used Kalmaker Workshop W30 software to tune this with as I am using the VS computer along with VS electronic automatic 4 speed transmission
